5 Micron SIC Silicon Carbide 3m PSA Adhesive Backed Lapping Film Sheets x3
With the purchase you will receive three (3) sheets of lapping film that are each approx. 6" x 6". These are 3M 3 MIL 5 micron SIC silicon carbide (PSA) adhesive backed sheets, they are tightly graded high quality 3M polyester backed films that produce excellent results. Simply use as is or cut to size and peel off the backing and apply, can be removed and reattached. These films will work wet or dry and can be used with most guided sharpening systems like Edge Pro, KME, Tsprof, Wicked edge etc. They also work extremely well on kitchen knives and wood working tools. To get maximum life from the films I recommend wiping them down periodically with a clean towel and a little rubbing alcohol, this will remove any metal that has accumulated and expose the abrasive.
