8" x 3" strip of genuine hard rolled (Russet Veg Tan) horse hide/butt. These strips come from the heavier portion of the hide and feature a very tight grain structure, this leather is tanned along side Horween’s Shell Cordovan during the first 40 plus days of their tanning process. This hide is extra firm temper, it has undergone an extra step at the tannery, the hide is rolled under tons of force while damp to tighten and firm the hide even further.
**Please note this is extra firm / hard rolled bare vegetable tanned horsehide.**
