Kangaroo Leather On Basswood Strop 8" x 3"

Kangaroo hide strop, both sides of the basswood base have been leveled and are dead flat. One side is bare that has a nice clean even finish (ready for abrasive of your choice), the other side has a very clean/firm 2oz thick piece of genuine Birdsall LHG kangaroo leather that was attached via special 3m high strength spray adhesive. This in my opinion is the finest vegetable tanned roo hide available.

Both basswood and kangaroo hide are excellent for stropping on, they produce great results with CBN or diamond sprays and emulsions. Kangaroo hide is high in natural silicates that act as very fine abrasives so it can be used bare for final stropping & burr removal.

These work great with my water based diamond sprays.
