These are large two sided paddle strops that are 15"L x 3"W x 3/4"H that feature premium 10oz European veg tan leather (grain / smooth side up both sides). The wood handles are cut to shape and leveled perfectly flat then two coats of stain & paste wax are applied, the leather is permanently attached and is a very dense vegetable tanned leather. The strop comes with a 550 paracord lanyard plus end cap for the convince of hanging on a wall.
The strop can be used bare if you like since vegetable tanned leather has both silica (a natural abrasive found in leather) as well as silicates that are added during the tanning process both of which act as extremely fine abrasives. These strops also work great with my diamond sprays, can be used with your favorite diamond or CBN sprays/pastes/emulsions as well.
